چکیده

Abstract Textile dyes are causing serious environmental problems in the world. The treatment of from textile wastewater is necessary to protect environment. Adsorbents with high adsorption potential local materials required solve these problems. In this study, acid yellow 17 dye aqueous solutions was carried out using an activated bone char, collected slaughterhouses. removal performance measured a UV-Vis spectrometer. Adsorption experiments were batch process under different operating conditions including initial concentration, adsorbent dose, contact time, and solution pH. From experimental data, maximum efficiency 91.43% achieved at optimum pH 2, time 120 min, concentration 50 mg/L, dose 20 g/L. models: isotherm kinetics onto animal data fitted well Langmuir model (R2 = 0.9245) pseudo-second-order 0.9967), respectively. This study indicated that which obtained slaughterhouses discharged as waste into environment has remove polluted water.

Removal of textile dye from aqueous solutions by nanofiltration process

The feasibility of employing nanofiltration (NF) in the decolorization of ionic (direct blue 86) and nonionic (disperse blue 56) dye aqueous solutions was investigated. The effects of feed concentration (60- 180 mg/l), pressure (0.5- 1.1 MPa) and pH (6- 10) were studied. Experiments were performed in a laboratory- scale set up by using a TFC commercial spiral wound polyamide nanofilter. The res...
